This 52 inch wall pool is manufactured in Canada by 7-11 Playtime Pools from top quality materials and reinforced with extra vertical supports, giving it the strongest wall of any pool we sell! The Tempest is the only pool in its class using an extra rigid 7.125 inch ledge and big 6 inch uprights engineered from 10 inches of forged steel. Plus, each post is spaced more closely than other comparable pool models and there are more of them, so each post carries less weight and the structural stresses are spread out across the frame. Plus, the Tempest Pool comes with top and bottom stabilizing rails manufactured from double rolled steel. The rails are designed to create a rigid structure and add stability to the pool wall and are considered the strongest on the market. The hot-dipped industrial strength galvanized frame is protected on both sides with a multi-layer system and covered with an extra durable textured Weatherizer space-age polymer, multi-coat finish and a liquid vinyl top seal. The finish is formulated to create a long-lasting barrier against acid rain, UV rays, pool chemicals and day-to-day use. Finally, every piece is held together by 100% stainless steel screws for the ultimate in corrosion protection.
The Tempest pool has a thicker and heavier wall than other pools. In fact, the Tempest pool is made from the heaviest gauge steel in the industry, with deep corrugation for exceptional resistance to ice and impact damage.
